It's not yet fall, but I've began practicing for the Thanksgiving pie making marathon regardless.

Pictured: Classic Apple Pie.

Pity I live sooo far away, I'd invite myself over for a slice, topped with double cream, famous from Tasmania. Well done!

Summer is perfect for seasonal fruit pie! This is an olallieberry pie I baked a few summers ago... (using berried we picked ourselves, of course ;) )

Thanks! Olallieberry is a hybrid of two blackberry/raspberry hybrids, so it's very flavorful (much more so than regular blackberries, imo). Sadly, they are not widely available (even in CA), so I always look forward to the few weeks every year that fruit farms have them available for picking.

GagzFirst comment on Massdrop. Wish I had a standing ovation emoji right now...
How does this cheese thing work? Do you melt it on top or just mix in slices with each bite?

ltopperYou shred it on top for the last 5 min of baking!
Beautiful pie - tasted amazing as well!
That looks like a textbook rustic apple pie. Fit for a cookbook.
