Great switches for someone looking for a quiet yet tactile switch
As the title says, these switches are kind of a cross between linears and tactiles. The sound they have is a quiet lower frequency noise and is great for using in the office.
I've used 66 of the 70 I purchased but unfortunately, 3 of those 66 switches came broken. I fixed one (a copper prong was damaged), but the other two don't seem salvagable. Dissapointing considering the price and quality these are supposed to be. I suspect something went awry during the hand-lubing process done by DROP. I recommend the switches, but there's a risk getting them hand-lubed.
It's mainly the feel and the sound that are just delightful. I can type on these switches for weeks at a time and not get bored. They are made with precision and the people that put them together are quite meticulous. They are a bit more expensive than the non lubed, but I would Not hesitate to buy there over non lubed if the situation arises.
To start, I won a good coupon during the Hallowheel event and decided to pick these up. I received these not too long ago and decided to test them out between a few stock HPXs and some HPXs I lubed myself. The stock HPXs were detected almost immediately, and it was difficult to determine which of the lubed HPXs were the set I modded myself. Consistency of the lube job was also really good throughout the batch, with only 1 switch having less lube than the others in the switches received. If you've got the cash and like the sound and feel of Panda style switches, give them a shot.
