Allegory "Cap" Fountain Pen
This pen sucks. I'm used to fountain pens requiring a little bit of maintenance, but this one clogs up if left sitting for even a day or two. And unlike other pens where you can scribble on paper for a few minutes to get it going again, it requires removing the nib, cleaning out, and running ink through it EVERY TIME I try to use it. It just seems like a very poor quality nib/ink system. I have tried both the cartridges and the ink...

Man, we are going to be talking about tablet (touch screen device) vs tablet (paper) on this drop till the cows come home lol. We'll try to be more clear ourselves from here on. The 8.5x11 refers to the paper size.
The largest tablet (device) that could fit would be 9.25 in wide and 11.25 in tall. This would be without a protective case.
We may be able to modify it to fit the Pro - Nselbak shoot us an email at service@allegorygoods.com to...

Hey all - Massdrop likes to use their wholesale relationships with the notebooks companies in order to give you guys the best deal on the paper. That is why the notebooks are always shipped separately from our covers. We make each batch of covers to order so that we can offer the range of thread color, leather color and engraving options. This means we need a bit of extra time to handcraft your pieces. I'm sorry that it's frustrating to have...

Hey LW12,
We've dropped the Rhodia Unlimited (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/rhodia-unlimited), and the Clairefontaine 1951 Pocket Notebooks before (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/clairefontaine-1951-pocket-notebook), so you can find more details on the drop pages. These two have the most fountain pen friendly paper, and also the most pages.
The Field Notes we've offered with covers like this one, and you can find more info on their website here:...

Phoenician Generation 2 Grinders
I have to agree with the previous poster, this grinder definitely leaks, but the pro's outweigh the con's. It's a very easy grinder to use. I didn't have to apply wax. Pollen accumulates nicely on the bottom, notwithstanding a little leakage. It's very light, yet sturdy. Excellent grip design. Each level locks into place nicely. The paper holder is a cool functional twist. Rasta colors are very Rasta. Move over Space Case (referring to my 2...

Everyday Pen/Ink on not so great papers?

Allegory Webnotebook Cover
You might be able to stretch the Allegory cover. Mine fits loose along the spine, enough that I can slip a finger between the cover and spine. You need some way of stretching the leather. Failing to stretch the leather cover, will you be able to use the cover on another notebook or pawn it off on another fountain pen and fine paper enthusiast?
I am quite happy with my Allegory Webbie cover. There was some misunderstanding about shipping, but...

B5 Notebook Covers
I write on B5 notebooks as well. Life makes a leather-like vinyl cover. Nanami Paper sells them but the covers have been out of stock for over a month now. I was hoping enough folks would have joined me in my comment on the Allegory A5 cover offering, and maybe they would make a B5 version. Of course they are soft covers too. I don't mind a softcover, as I use a writing mat made of plastic. Still having a cover to protect the notebook would...

Allegory Leather Pocket Journal
So I got mine today, and while it looks great, its also making a mess. I am getting smears of what I am guessing is the dye all over my hands and such. Even the paper on the inside of the journal. Basically any exposed edge of the leather is doing it. I have attached a picture of me gently rubbing the journal on a piece of paper.
Is this how it's supposed to be? If so I'm hesitant to put this in my pocket or even carry it for the brown all over...
