If they sold it in fat quarters it would be $2.30 each and $41.40 for the whole bundle.

I'm not sure about the metallics, but if you go by yardage pricing at (for example) fabric.com a fat quarter works out cheaper. That said, they won't SELL you a fat quarter, so to use their price is debatable.
