It is unfortunate that I only joined massdrop today because I just purchased these headphones for 249.99 on amazon. I love them so much that I intend to buy these and return the ones from amazon. They are well worth the amazon price but at the massdrop price they are must haves. Love these headphones and am sure you will too. Edit 1: I still love these headphones and wish I could explain just how good they sound but it is just something you will have to hear to understand. Even with that, there are some flaws that I figured I would share with the community. 1. The headband is pretty stiff and if you have a big head like I do you can expect some discomfort after wearing them for a little while. I am sure that once I have had them for a while this well get better but out of the box... ouch 2. These are more on ear than over ear unless you have small ears. 3. you can not change the ear cups. 4. the cable is very short, guessing about 4.5 feet. Kewl if you are walking around with it plugged into whatever player you use, but if you are sitting at a desk not so good. And no, they do not have nor offer longer ones so you would have to buy an extender or custom cable. 5. This is a plus or a minus, that is going to depend on you and your needs. This headset is a bit on the heavy side, it is a little over half a pound (293 grams or .65 of a pound). That is not normally a lot of weight but combined with issue 1 and 2 they will become unbearably uncomfortable after a while and, if you are doing anything that requires you to be moderately or more active, this can be a problem. 6. I am not sure if anyone else has noticed or have had this problem but my cables are backwards. The left ear cable is actually the right and the right is the left. This is not a big problem because all you have to do if you have this problem is put left in the right cup and vice versa. I didn't realize it until I was watching a movie and the sound that should have been on the left was coming out of the right ear. I then pulled up my player and moved my slider to the right and then to the left and sure enough, the cables that are designated by color (left=white - right=red) were backwards. Now, as I said this is not a big issue, you can just switch them around. I called 1more to let them know and they offered to replace it free of charge. Now for the good things; 1. The sound and range is amazing. I own several headsets that range from $30 to $1800 and I can tell you that without hesitation that I have not tried or owned headsets in this price range that sound better. These are not bass cans nor is it a precision headphone but for 90% of your listening pleasure these are going to give you more range and clarity than anything else you are going to find. 2. They are solid and strong. 1more did not skimp out on any of the building materials. I love the feel of it and while I have yet to do so, am sure that if I were to drop them, they would survive without an issue. 3. I love the look, it is not overly done but definitely not plain either. 4. The best full range headphones I have ever owned, period. 5. Customer service has been pretty good, I have not been able to talk to them when I have called but I did leave a message and they got back to me ready and willing to help with any problem.
Bottom line is this, if you are looking for bass cans, this is not it. If you are doing precision editing, these are not the best you can get (but for sure the best of anything I have ever used up to probably the $600 range). If you are looking for headphones that won't break the bank but will give you amazing sound no matter what you listen to, you have come to the right place.

denlim777OK, I am going to give an update on my post. These headphones will run from an iPhone (I still have the 6plus) and while the iPhone was not to happy about it, the 1more preformed admirably. I also ran it from my Senheisser GSX 1000 and could hear a marked difference in quality with the power boost. I then hooked it up to my SMSL AD18 on Bluetooth (yeah I know) and these damn things came to life. They should have called them the 1more Captain Kirk because all I ever hear from them is "Scotty, I need more power!" Lol.. I will run it on my panda stack pro tomorrow when my buddy brings it back, at that point I can let you know how it does. 2nd, a quick follow up to my cable issue. I spoke to the sales manager and he was more than willing to send me a new one. He was also very gracious and willing to listen to my criticisms. so my grading will be as follows: sound: 10/10 (based on how I like my headphones to sound) comfort: 6/10 (based on my big head and ears) cable: 5/5 (great quality cable but too short and wired incorrectly) customer service: 10/10 (the only comparable customer service has been Amazon) Bottom line: things Like comfort and cables can be fixed but sound can not, so to me, they are still 10/10 and that is before considering that they are only going to cost $150. I love them so much that I just ordered 2 more, a spare for me and a second for the wife because every time I turn around it is on her desk. Denlim777, be comfortable in the thought that this is probably going to be the best price to performance headphones you will ever Buy.

ethanchanYea I find the sound to be very good as the headphone seems to adapt to the track based on the drivers used. Also I think the most unique thing about it is the sound stage and imaging which are spectacular for a closed and give some of my open backs a run for their money, I was hesitant to buy but I'm genuinely glad I did, I even sent in my cans to be reviewed so they get some more attention.

MufflertapeTo be honest, my hearing is not the greatest so a lot of sound stage imaging gets lost on me unless it is drastic, but the one thing I get from these that I don't from my 598 limited edition, AKGQ701, Beyer Dynamic T90, Alpha Dogs, AKG K712, and Fostex T60RP is the Clarity that they produce across their entire sound spectrum. It is crazy to me that I can get the down and dirty thump with a crisp tight bass line while enjoying mids and highs that match those of Sennheiser. There is some witchcraft going on in these damn headphones and I can't seem to figure out how they did it. The quality of sound across the entire bandwidth is something I don't hear in anything I own that is less than $600 and that is being optimistic. Of course I could be just bad at picking headphones but I figure there has to be a least one or two winners in my collection, lol. I hope the reviewers send your set back because they may just lose them in the mail.. lol

ethanchanLol Touche, yea I agree on how clear they sound, it's not that the mids are bad on this headphone to me its that the highs and the bass are very special. :( I miss them now...

MufflertapeDon't get me wrong, All of those headsets I listed would have a list of bullet points a mile long about what i like and why I bought them but the 1more gave me the total package for the majority of my listening. As for mids, I think I am lucky when it comes to my crappy hearing because I haven't noticed it yet. They do a real good job of hiding the lack of mids to my ears with the way the lows and highs blend with it so it masks it very well, especially if your old like me... lol. I am not surprised by what you say though because the truth of it is that all headphones tend to fail in one sound spectrum or another... well... maybe not the stax.. lol. But these do a great job of hiding it, it isn't like when I put on my beats and get crazy thump but muddy mids and highs or my 598's with crisp beautiful high, mid and mid lows but fall flat when it comes to a good stiff bass thump. I have had a lot of people ask me how I choose headphones and I always tell them that I go with what sounds right to me. What works for me may not work for everyone else. That is why I like Zeos reviews because his idea of good sound is pretty much on par with what I like. That and the fact that the only recommendation he has made that has fallen flat for me was the AD18 because of the line hum in AUX. I finally got a fixed it by putting a noise isolator on it but I was not too happy that I had that problem. I'll tell you what, I hope to someday see Ether Flow C's get posted. That is probably the only other headset I want aside from replacing my L300's. I would buy them from Amazon but I just can't justify the $1800 price tag.

ethanchanNo joke lol, yea the mids are there and are good they just arnt my hd650 mids lol. The only thing initially from zeos I didnt like was the t20rp mk3, I have a love hate relationship with Fostex and I currently dont think I'll be buying from them again. For me I'm looking at dt1990 or lcd2c or maybe the electrostats on Massdrop, I'm poor so maybe the 1990s after I sell my Purplehearts :(

MufflertapeI haven't had the 1990's on my head so I am not sure what they sound like but I did try my buddies lcd2c's and I was not a fan. They sounded hollow to me and lacked the crispness of sound that I would expect from a plus $700 headphone. I know that it may have something to do with my hearing but I have plenty of headphones that don't have what I can only describe as hollow or thin sound. If you are going to sell the purplehearts and put that much money into new headphones I would suggest saving up for the Stax SRS-3100 system. those will change your life.. lol. I have heard that you can catch it on ebay for around $700. Hopefully we will see them on MD soon as well. From what I have read a lot of people want to see those get posted so with a little luck they will pop up. The only reason I don't have mine anymore is because I gave them to a buddy of mine for a going away gift. I am going to get some new ones either when they drop here or when my brother from another mother goes to Japan in November. But seriously, they are worth every penny IMO, as long as you get the headphone/amp combo. I tried them on other amps and they just don't sound the same. As for Fostex, I was tempted by the TH-X00's that are posted until I listened to a sound demo. The low end is glorious but once I heard the muddy mids and highs I decided not to drop $400 on them. They are beautiful to look at and if someone is into the beats style bass cans then they would be great but for me, not so much. I want bass as well as clean mids and highs. guess that is why I want my Stax back.. lol

ethanchanThey dont have enough sub bass actually, sharper highs until you slap sheepskin pads on them then the chill out and become a somewhat relaxed headphone honestly, I was finallyable to mod the t20s to where I want them and well I don't need 2 headphones that do the same job.

MufflertapeWe for sure have different tastes in sound. The sub bass I got out of mine were plenty for me. I have always found that the deeper you go with sub on a headphone the more you loose on the higher frequency spectrum. Much like the 1mores, they have a great clean range. Only difference is that the L300 has a bigger range over all, at least to my ears. Don't get me wrong, even with my L300 back on my desk I am sure I will daily drive the 1more because I can use a portable dac/amp with it which is just not possible with the Stax. But when I sit down to listen to my classical, or jazz or even EDM I will more than likely have the Stax on. to me they are just that good and yes, that is with the pad change. The original pads I had kinda sucked... lol

ethanchanWell I tend to be treble sensitive and I have tinnitus to boot, and can hear up to 17k so I'm picky with what I listen with but I listen to pretty much everything. I've been influenced by jbl l112 speakers my whole life. For example I do not like 7xx m1060 or shp9500 for treble issues. I own he560 and find them to sound airy but not unpleasurable like the others etc...
