Is Massdrop looking into any other similar products? Foreign Language package deals, or promo supplies? I thought this was a very cool and unique drop, and even though this one didn't pan out, I hope to see more possibilities like this one.
Hi everyone,
We placed the order for the 2012 Japanese Deckbuilder's Toolkits last week and were just notified that they are no longer available for purchase. We are extremely frustrated with this since we were explicitly told that up to 150 would be available to us provided we ordered before a certain date. Apparently information wasn't properly relayed and the units available to us were sold elsewhere. Today we called up 4 other vendors to see if anyone else had them available, but given the language, and out-of-print status of them, it's fair to say that they're not exactly easily accessible. So it saddens us greatly to say that we will not be able to fulfill this buy. Instead, we'll need to refund everybody's purchase. We sincerely apologize for this situation, and are extending a $10 credit to each person in the buy which can be applied to any future purchase on Massdrop. Just email support@massdrop.com when you place a future order, and the support team will discount it by $10.

We’ve just submitted our order for the 2012 Japanese Deckbuilders Toolkit (3-pack).
Now that the order has been placed, our vendor will be preparing it for shipment.
The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule we will provide you guys with the updated information.

Well, it's only a savings of $6, I can get 3 of these from my local Target for $20 each.
Edit: Course, they'd be English, not Japanese. Maybe Japanese is a selling point for people?
AgrajagJapanese cards often hold a decent price lead on english cards especially foils. They are generally printed in much smaller runs then american cards and some people like foreign cards.
