A Canadian artist and illustrator, John Howe is perhaps best known for his work on Peter Jackson’s film adaptations of The Lord of the Rings—where he served as chief conceptual designer. He’s also contributed to the film adaptation of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and to a limited edition of George R.R. Martin’s A Clash of Kings, and has illustrated cards for Magic: the Gathering. This expansion introduces the following survivors: Dravog the Hewer, Cyrine, Gorvin, and Hildir the Wise.
One of the most prolific artists in the world of comics, Neal Adams helped to create notable characters like Superman, Batman, and Green Arrow for DC Comics. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1998. This expansion introduces the following survivors: Golor the Smith, Gronstag the Barbarian, Yrina the Savage, and Alainon.
Italian cartoonist, filmmaker, and author Gianni Pacinotti, better known as “Gipi,” began illustrating comic books in 1992. He won the 2005 Goscinny Prize for his work Notes for a War Story—a tale of three young men in a war-torn country. He also founded Santa Maria Video in 2002, which makes animated shorts and videos. This expansion introduces the following characters: Donna Carlotta, The Little Prince, Clelia La Santa, and Pipino the Humongous.
