There appears to be some errors in this listings maximum heights, particularly when comparing measurements in inches to cm

djprThe metric measurements are correct. I can't verify the imperial measurements without converting them.

I've yet to receive my package and the tracking information hasn't been updated since the 17th. I have a case open to trace my package, but apparently since "it's handled by another, I don't have a case ID number for you." I have to wait 2-3 days to hear from this other department.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 12/21.

I would like to use this for filmmaking, is it good for that or only photography? Some tripods are terrible for filmmaking. How sturdy is it? Is it rugged?

MylesRootTo provide smooth pans and tilts, you will need to buy a fluid head to replace the ball head that comes with the tripod. The tripod is sturdy enough, being rated at being able to support 14 kg or 30 pounds

Anyone attest to the quality on this thing? Im looking for it to be sturdy for long exposure shoots hiking in the mtns. And does the ball head come off? I might rather use my gitzo head. Thanks for any info.

SquirtisWe offer a 5 year global warranty, and have a 0.005% returns rate on our products, so the quality is very high. The ball head comes off, and all threads are universal 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20, so there are no weird thread sizes that require specific adapters. I suspect the AirHed Neo is stronger than your Gitzo head (dependent on which Gitzo head you have), so you might be surprised :) . Also worth noting that we're the only brand that offers fully detachable feet and a multitude of footwear options for different terrains and surfaces at this price point. And, if you're interested, we currently have an Instagram project running called "From Concept to Corey" ( #ConceptToCorey ) where we are showing the design and build process, and detailing what it takes to bring a product to market.
