The most popular backpack in 5.11 Tactical’s collection, the Tactical Rush Bag is a field-ready pack with plenty of space for the essentials and more. Made from 1050D nylon with water-repellent coating, it’ll hold up rain or shine Read More
I don’t have the 24 but bought the 72 from Amazon in black I bought a day ago. Now I love this pack but I don’t know what to put in it.
Anybody have suggestions on load out and the biggest bladder I can put in it, was looking at 3L/100oz camelbak mil-spec
With shipping I save a whopping $7 over buying OD green on amazon. Don't know what the difference is between that and olive, but $7 is ridiculous. Less than that if you want black.
CalebKthe price went up. didn't know it fluctuates that quickly. But I was able to get it at that price. still though... massdrop prices are barely any good these days, especially since the shipping cost would put it over most of the same items on amazon.
I can walk in the 5.11 store and get 20% off and walk out with it. Try again massdrop. The point is deep discounts for mass buys, not what I can't find it for everyday
NolenhouseThe point is what they can negotiate for their members. There are also people overseas who can't just walk into a store and buy it. If it's not the deal for you, then don't get it plain and simple. And if the drop works for no one, then it won't happen. But a lot of these drops that aren't good for people in the US still succeed because people elsewhere in the world can't get them.
ChuckDeeThat's right. Around here the 24 from the 5.11 official store costs USD 160, so getting one from MD does make sense.
Went to Japan on an 8-day vacation a few months ago and we shopped around on the side for cheap bags. The markup for all 5.11 products there is just plain ridiculous.
Two weeks ago I bought a Rush12 at a 5.11 store here in preparation for my trip abroad very soon and I deliberately missed this drop a few days ago so I could skip the unnecessary expense of buying another backpack and wreck havoc on my wallet. Thanks MD for the impeccable timing, nice price though for non-US customers like me :P
I'll buy the 24 as my bug-out bag once I get back home, as long as the price is right
Very solid backpack, excellent for EDC. Great materials and stitching, well thought compartments inside, you might want to add a waist belt if carrying too much (it has the buckles already and belts can be found online). I have it for a few years together with 72, no issues whatsoever.
A bit too expensive here though
