Designed as a monitor for your Raspberry Pi, the 7-inch touchscreen has a 1024-by-600p resolution. Unlike resistive touchscreens, which rely on pressure, capacitive touchscreens use the conductive properties present on your skin. This creates a more touch-sensitive surface that responds better to touches of all types. Plus, it’s not only compatible with Raspberry Pi, but can be used with BeagleBone Black, Windows 10, and Mac OS systems. By connecting via the LVDS 30-pin connector, you can edit the config.txt of the display to work in your car, as a digital photo frame, as a DVD player, and more.
