Moderate success finally getting around to putting the keyboard caps on and programming the keyboard with QMK toolbox and MSYS2. I can flash the board perfectly fine now BUT... for whatever reason my LEDs under each cap start of super bright when I plug the board in and then over a span of about 30 seconds they slowly dim away until they are completely off, lol. I have programmed all of the various BL_TOGG and BL_INC and BL_DEC and they do nothing??? RGB_TOG and the various RGB commands DO adjust the underneath LEDs (which are useless in this case). Any clue as to what's up with the under-key LEDs fading away??? haha.

Finally got around to putting my keyboard together... Pretty easy (first time assembling a full kit). I added SIP sockets that I soldered into the board for the switch LEDs and everything hooked up fine and the LEDs all came on without an issue. The board seemed of good quality as did the case and plate though removing a switch from the plate after the switch is mounted was near impossible for me (ripped the switch in half to get it back out lol). The bottom of the board:

I still need to figure out getting my build environment workings correctly so that I can program the keyboard as the default layout is horrible lol. Mostly built this so get more familiar with building keyboards in general as I have a Planck sitting in a box that I still need to build as well and I'd rather of messed up with this one first :D

It's all put together (sans instructions, just lucky guesses). For anyone looking for how to program this, use the instructions at https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware with the keyboard layout at https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/idobo/keymaps/default75 You'll probably have to make a few changes to it to get it working properly. I feel like the included keys were woefully short of anything other than the default layout. Not a single blank, no right side modifiers. I think this was a kind of good deal, but I gotta go spend a bunch more to get a functional keyboard. Finally, I got the cherry whites, and the keycaps will NOT come off without so much force that it pulls the whole switch apart. I'm glad there were a few extras in this kit because 3 of them broke while trying to re-arrange things. Can anyone tell me how to use the double sized keys included with this one so I can have a spacebar (and maybe enter key)?

maximumBurritoCould you add that how to put the keyboard in DFU mode and get out of it? I put the keyboard in DFU by pressing B and spacebar at the same time while plugging in the cable, Now it is in DFU and I do not know how to get out of it. Thanks,

yongarGreat question. There is a button on the bottom of it. Flip it over and look for the CPU down (when looking at the bottom, it's under the switch 2 rows down, 7th switch from the right). It's labeled S1. Push it.

mostly finished assembling my keyboard. quality is decent for the price, keycaps are nice. the quality of the plate could be better (sharp edges, a bit of a warp on one side) but all in all I'm pleased. one thing about the keycaps though: can't seem to get my space bars to fit the ortholinear layout properly – they probably SHOULD take the space of two keys, but they don't align right for some reason. is this an error in production or am I just missing something?

jeshkaYeah the included 2u keys aren't suitable for ortholinear layout at all. Does anyone know where to get a cheap but completely matching 2u spacebars? (Matching grey colour, DSA profile, PBT).

Help! I think I have bricked my keyboard. This is my first keyboard with QMK. I created my own keyboard layout, and generated a firmware successfully (https://www.chaz6.com/files/xd75_massdrop_chaz6.hex). I successfully flashed it using QMK Toolbox, but now it does not respond at all, and it does not seem to enter flashing mode. MintyCactusApparently, I messaged Vincent(Aliexpress) asking if he was the creator of this drop and his reply was "Yes, one of the creator."
You can get it for maybe a couple bucks more from his store but you'll definitely receive it within 2-4 weeks instead of waiting for 3 months for this drop to be delivered in 2019.

chaosentityThere are two feet that can be screwed onto the case – or at least there have been in the last drop. So you have (had?) the choice of flat and a slight angle (6 degree maybe?).
