CphrThat still didn't actually answer the question. I'm well aware of that particular detail. What I don't know is...
1: Does the 8Bitdo even have any physical rumble motor hardware inside of it, regardless of platform compatibility?
2: If it does have regular rumble hardware, is it not compatible with ANY Rumble on the Switch, or just not with the HD Rumble only?
What I mean by 2, is that the Switch has some games that feature regular rumble, but not HD Rumble. Breath of the Wild is like this. It has regular rumble, but not HD rumble.
richfilesI don't see any rumble feature on either the manufacturer's site for this controller or the documentation within their support page http://download.8bitdo.com/Manual/Controller/NES30pro+FC30pro/NES30pro+FC30pro_Manual_V4.pdf
It looks like the answer to both 1 and 2 is "no".
Below is everything they have but you can email sales or support for more info:

Compatibility
CphrThanks. It can sometimes be kinda hard to find when something doesn't have a feature. It usually ends up coming down to an absence of mention anywhere, or by word of mouth from previous buyers.
It's a little bit of a bummer it has no rumble at all, but most retro games isn't have rumble either. Still, it would have been icing ont he cake. If they ever release an updated model that does feature rumble or other features, I'll probably try to upgrade.
Again, thanks!
