Epic_EnkiduI have a nice ds emulator that i was hoping to run with it. Although i have since made my decision finding out the switch has an update for it
shadowkreepIt works great for the switch! My son uses it when we play Mario Kart and it works great for him, Zelda not so much though :P
Also, it is pretty durable if that matters to you. Mine has been tossed, dropped, thrown at the wall by my three year old and it is still holding up, just with a couple of scratches here and there lol
shadowkreepyes anything that uses a controller i use mine on a android tablet and run all my emulators on it genesis, mame, it even works for the nintendo switch console as an extra controller with the new firmware update.
shadowkreepAll of the emulators I have used have an external controller setup. You will have to dig through the settings in the emulator you're using. Make sure you pair the controller first so your emulator sees it when you go to configure the controller. Here is my old USB controller setup in Nostalgia.nes
DafragI actually use DraStic DS Emulator that allows me to configure my controls however i want based on the amount of buttons the external controller has. It really works incredibly well. This controller was easily one of my favorite purchases on MD
