Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know that A Game of Thrones LCG 2nd edition will be released in August 2015 and will NOT compatible with the 1st edition. Official news from the creator himself can be found at the official site. Official tournament play for the 1st edition will be supported at least until the end of this year by Fantasy Flight Games. You can read the new rules and mechanics at BoardGameGeek. A Game of Thrones LCG is still very much an enjoyable card game and House of Talons adds some powerful cards to your decks, but we just wanted the community to know this important announcement before purchasing.
I came here just to comment re:this. If it wasn't mentioned, I would be furious. My friends have been playing in local leagues with great success and have been trying to get me to play regularly. While I don't think that'll ever happen (I only play Limited MtG formats and brewing decks has been a long time weakness), I promised I'd play for a month or two in earnest w/the rules update.
