I can't leave a review on Massdrop for this wallet as I ordered mine through A&H's website... However I can leave a comment! :D This wallet is great! Yes, it's a bit stiff when you first get it but regular use (and keeping things in it) will loosen up the leather a bit. Alternatively you could get the softer leather option (lambskin, I think?) right off the bat and the wallet will be a lot more pliable to start with. It fits perfectly in the front pocket of women's Old Navy Rockstars so I'd imagine that it will fit very well in the front pocket of most women's pants, if not all women's pants. I don't carry a purse (or even a bag very often) so having a wallet that fits in my front pants pocket is 10/10. If you're a person that doesn't wear women's pants then trust me, the pockets are really small and shallow. The wallet itself is also very well constructed and if you have any issues I'm 100% sure A&H will take care of you. I had a very minor issue with one of their wallets and they replaced it ASAP! Great products and great customer service! :)

Thanks @Ayyno This is why we do what we do!!
Crap, I forgot to join the drop! I knew I was forgetting something yesterday! Damn. Guess I'll catch one of these next time they're available.
These will ship relatively quickly after the drop ends. Typically within a couple days (we receive the address info about 48 hours after it ends). Hopefully in time for the Holidays.
I have a small wallet (not this one) that holds four-ish cards as well as has an elastic centre bit for holding bills that is incredibly unreliable... The reason I use it is that it fits in the front pocket of my favourite pants. If you aren't familiar with many women's pants (which I am, as a woman), they tend to have very shallow, small pockets. It's pretty much impossible to fit anything other than a minimalist wallet in it. Any women here who may have bought this in previous drops that might be able to comment on the whole, "Does it fit in my front pants pocket?" question? To A&H Leather: Could you provide measurements for the length, width, and thickness of the wallet? Just jam random cards in the pockets for the thickness and I'd really appreciate it! I'm sure any other folks with tight pants pocket problems may also appreciate it!

There were other posts below with the dimensions. Figured I’d put them here.
AHLEATHER
I just wanted to thank you again for these measurements! I missed the drop but ended up ordering from your site and I'm loving this wallet! For anyone else considering one of these: This wallet fits SUPER easily in the shallow front pockets of my Old Navy Rockstars. Definitely a wallet that should be friendly to most, if not all women's pants pockets!
There should be new, less expensive international shipping rates than we have offered before. The international shipments (and all our shipments) will come with tracking, however due to the lower cost, the international shipments may take a few extra days to arrive.

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered another (under my name). If for some reason someone cancels Glazed Buffalo Brown Expresso, please send me that instead.
AndrewProbasco
@AndrewProbasco will do. They should ship Saturday so I’ll find out what we’ve got. Thx.
Just got mine in Buffalo Calf Crunch! Feels solid and super slim. It's too short for USD folded in half to be placed in right-side-up so I had to fold cash horizontally and stick it in sideways. A little bulky with 4 notes of cash so if you carry a lot of cash maybe shoot for something else. You can see what I mean in this pic (not applying pressure to the sides, just holding it):

Other than that the texture, feel and smell of the wallet is sleek and sexy. Looking forward to enjoying it!

Does the entire wallet have RFID protection? Or just along the bottom where the magnetic strip would sit inside the wallet?
LiechsWonder
The inside of the wallet has RFID protection sewn in. Therefore, as long as the magnetic strip is facing inward, you should be covered. Hope this helps.
The image for "cow lizard - black" is the same as as "buff calf crunch - black". I'm curious if there will any plans for a "buff calf crunch - espresso"?
furba77
Thanks for pointing that out. We will have MD fix. As for the buff calf in other colors, no current plans. Thanks for looking.
I don't understand. In which compartment do I put cash? It looks good but seems only for cards... I'm a freelancer so I deal mostly with cash.
Eorlingas
Hello @Eorlingas this is a minimalist style wallet. So very little cash is typically used for this style. The few bills would be folded in half (sometimes twice) and put in the slot between the cards. We have other styles that would better suit your needs. Check out “A&H” in the search function. Thanks for looking.
Just recieved the wallet. It's a good quality wallet but the RFID protection doesn't seems to be working even in the middle pocket, as I can use my credit card without taking it out of the middle pocket. Overall still a good product, I just wish the protection was there.
Guillaumes
Hi @Guillaumes not sure what you mean by “you can use your card with it still in the wallet”. is the stripe side “down”? Please email us at info@ahleather.com and we can try and discuss and help. Thanks.
Is this an American company and made in the US?
Tokyoexpressway
American company. Not made in the US. Made in the finest factory in India, who also produces some of the major brand name products. Hope this helps and thanks for looking.
AHLEATHER
Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
@AHLEATHERCould you describe the differences between the alternatives in terms of the leather, pattern, etc.? Thanks!
Load 1 more comment
epony
OK, here are style differences, best we can explain: Lamb Skin - Soft, but sturdy Buff Calf Cruch - medium strudiness with "pattern" throughout. Pattern is not "raised". Glazed Buff Calf - soft to medium softness with "shine" Pebble Cowhide - soft to medium softness with raised "dimples" Cow Lizard - medium to stiff with raised pattern throughout.
Hope this helps. As with all leather and naturally occurring materials, differences will be seen throughout from one wallet of the same leather to the next. Thanks.
AHLEATHER
Thanks!
The latest drop shipped today 3/12/18.
How many cards in total are you able to fit in the wallet? Are the 4 card slots on the outside able to fit two cards each?
Load 4 more comments
The description states four,so it's probably safe to assume that four is what it's designed to hold. You want to be shitty about a "lazy" answer when you're the one that asked a lazy question, hahaha.
Playful guff aside, your question about double-stuffing is a worthy curiosity; however it's safe to assume that while two would fit without much problem, it will eventually stretch the pockets and they may become unreliable in holding strength. On top of that, the significantly increased tension on the cards prior to stretch would prove to damage the cards from friction and trapped debris. I can attest to these things from experience - damage ranging from insignificant things like the chrome being worn off the imprint to problematic or even card-ruining abrasion of the magnetic strip.
Clarid
lol im surprised people are still responding to my comment.
i agree with your 2nd paragraph. i do have several cards which dont have magnetic strips or anything which can rub off. those are the ones i would double up on.

Received today! Overall it's very nice, and absolutely a bargain for the price. My only complaint is that the "pocket" part is very loose, and I wouldn't consider it a viable option for securing keys/change, as they will pretty easily fall out. Also worth noting, but not pictured, is that there's a small tag inside the pocket which says "Made in India".
Arcendus
thanks for the pics and review. yes, our partners are in India in one of the finest factories in the world. I appreciate your comments on the pocket and we will discuss about maybe adjusting. Thanks again.
@AHLEATHER do these all have "FULL GRAIN LEATHER" stamped on them? If so, would you guys ever consider making them without that embossing? I understand that some people make a big deal about that kind of "advertising" on their products, but I feel like it interrupts and ruins the continuous flow of the leather. If I trust the company behind the product, it doesn't matter what it says on there.
Also, is the entire product made from leather, or are the inside of the card slots lined? With some of the cheaper ones I've used in the past (usually sub-$50 range), the leather is folded over slightly into the card slots and then glued to the inside of the card slots which are lined with some synthetic fabric (to save on costs, I'm sure). Unfortunately what happens over time with cards sliding in and out all day is that the glue delaminates and the wallet starts to fall apart.
BTW, this is an amazing price point for a full-grain leather wallet. I just got a great deal on this style of wallet from Tom Ford and paid around 10x this price. Can you guys disclose which tanneries you source your leather from? Seriously considering getting a bunch of these as gifts.

I realize I'm a little late to the party here, but did you find out if the leather is stitched or glued to the fabric?
planb10113
@planb10113 the product is glued, only to allow for the stitching to be done so the “parts” stay together. Hope this helps.
These won't work as RFID-Protected, part of RFID antenna is exposed, I have such a wallet though it is from a different company that doesn't matter, the covered part of the card is indeed protected but if you get reader to the exposed part it reads the card without a problem. Also there is http://shamrockwallets.com which does them cheaper with a plethora of ready-made and customizable designs (write to support) and with faster shipping (Free for US and $5 for international). PS: I'm not affiliated with them in any way.

Hey, not critiquing your company, just the form-factor. Also spreading information about alternatives. The discussion section and additional/alternatives info is one of the great things about Massdrop. I wish you all the best :)
AlexCzar
Agreed. The comment section is great. And we try to stay on top of it. Have a great Holiday.
This drop shipped yesterday via USPS. Thanks.
Thank you for the quick reply to my question. Great service!!!
What is the size in inches before and after 4 cards?

See attached. The difference with cards is about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch versus that without cards I used 4 cards, credit cards... hope this helps

AHLEATHER
This is exactly what I wanted. If I use his than I can use a small pouch that I make instead of a heavy wallet. Thank you for your quick respond.
Have long considered slimming down my wallet and this almost crosses all the boxes. Is the top picket secure enough to drop two keys inside? Could I possibly get a picture of the top pocket? The country of manufacture would also be good to know albeit it would be immaterial in the purchase decision. Thanks.

Two keys (normal house keys) would easily fit. See attached pics. Best I could do and hope it helps.
Why do I need RFID protection?
jceaser
RFID protection is to protect the hidden identity in your cards. There are devices that when passed over a credit card will steal that info. Having RFID protection is a small way of trying to prevent this type of identity theft.
Sorry, but these are $18 all day long on ebay. What's the point of this site if it's not working towards deal?
Any users want to chime in with how it functions for them? I'm looking into minimalism and this wallet looks nice, but I'd like to hear some reviews. Also I think the pic for black cow lizard is wrong 😶

I just don't understand the point of this drop when you already sell them for pretty much the same price on ebay. Thought the pint of this site was to get a deal on things by guaranteeing a certain amount of orders. But if you can get that price through a normal solo order elsewhere, it kind of defeats the point. So saying "sorry it's not for you" doesn't make much sense.
crogs
Actually, all in, domestically in the US, MD is 5% cheaper than on Ebay or anywhere else. Again, if you don’t want 5% off (which I agree isn’t a ton, but at $17.25, with shipping, for a full grain leather wallet, it’s the best we can do right now) then I’m not sure what else I can do or say right now to help. We are offering the best quality at extremely competitive pricing.
Shipping to the UK is nearly as much as the wallet itself. I think I'll pass lol.

Makes sense. Still disappointing as these look cool :/ thanks for the explanation.
i think massdrop uses a stupid shipping calculator and doesnt get individual rates based on the actual size of the items package.I saw items bigger or same size as this shipped for around 5 dollars. Otherwise i would snag one up too they look good.
I'm in for 2 wallets.....thanks again Massdrop
