This looks like a good idea.
Looks like the channels protect the knife edges from banging into the other blades? Well that’s good.
I'm not too thrilled about the look of it, however. Too big, blocky, and conspicuous for my small kitchen.
I think a narrower, maybe slightly longer form factor that‘s not so metallic looking would get me much more interested.

This is a cool product but shipping is nearly 30% of the base item price which is hard to swallow.

NHRonWhat are those rods made of? I’d be concerned about them slicing off or alternatively damaging the knife edge

Do they make a taller one. I have a 12" slicing knife that would not fit in a box that is 9.8" deep. Shame, because this is otherwise brilliant.
