Kevin, I'm really very interested in getting these. This would be my first ever custom iem;-) The question I have for you is this. About what percentage of CIEM's have to be sent back for a refit? For example, 1 out of 10, or 1 out of 20. I'm curious because being in the US, it's seems like it might be difficult sending them back and forth. If any one here has ever needed a refit, how smooth was the process? Thanks so much!

JoeyPDon't worry, they're pretty good!!
Make sure you get good impressions first. It's very important. Go to reputable audiologist, don't skimp and make impression at some audio store just because they offer the service.
I've ordered 2 CIEM from AAW, never get major issue on comfort.

DaulagiriThanks! I've contacted a audiologist that can do them, I do realize that the impressions are very, very important. Im leaning towards getting in on this drop. It's just this is a big purchase for me so I want to get it right;-)

JoeyPGenerally speaking, the refit rate is very low and we have streamlined the refit process if necessary. You will find related instructions in the packaging once you received the CIEM. Moreover, do print out and bring this instruction with you when you visit the audiologist. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1313/3711/files/Impression_Instructions.zip?4921167173535919059
