Here because a few of you are still wondering on how they sound i may as well give a more in depth review. Firstly ill start with the bass signature. The bass is tight clean and very crisp (and kept in proportion with with all the other registers) its not to loud or overpowering, to me the bass on these feel just right (However they do lack in a little bit of sub bass unfortunately).
Now the mid's, as an avid guitarist and a strong heavy metal listener the mids are extremely clean and crisp (even more so than my k7xx's i find) they can keep up with any rock/heavy-metal without sounding muddled or bland defiantly a strong point for these excellent earphones.
Now for the highs. The highs of the earphones are also much like the bass and the mid very crisp and clear (a tad sparkly however) to me this is a great thing due to the highs ability to sound clean and crisp even during the most intense and brutal metal solos.
Finally sound-stage and comfort. To be completely honest the sound stage of these earphones is not the greatest by any means (not to say they don't have any at all they just don't blow me away) to me this doesn't matter too much because of how i use them but i could imagine it would for some listeners (This is no deal breaker by any means at all).
So lastly and probably the strongest point of these earphones their comfort. If anyone can find a more comfortable pair of earphones i would be absolutely amazed. I cant speak for the universal fits because i went to an audiologist and got my ear impressions there, But man are these just blissful to have in your ears. After about 10 minuets of listing i find i cant even feel them in my ears at all not only that but they sit flush with your ear so you can lie down very comfortably with them on. It is a true experience having iems molded to your ear canals playing music seamlessly into your eardrums.
Overall i couldn't tell you what else to buy at this price point, for the serious audiophile, pro musician or otherwise without a shadow of a doubt i would recommend these.

ebhalo121Thanks, good to know. I always had confort and fit issues with Iem so it will be welcome. As it is my headphones are T50RP heavyly modified for home, that I think sound awesome, but these are replacing koss Porta-pro, for portable use / Gym, that I also think sound good, or fun as they say but the Porta-Pros have no sound stage, none, all straight in your eardrum. So a small improvment would be welcome, altough they are 6 times the price so really I hope for a huge improvment. For home use I'm also "upgrading" to the Purpleheart th-x00 so I did throw about a thousand Canadian dollars this last week for headphones, I was less worried about the fostex since all the raving, AAW are very unknown, I hope for the best.

Pierre111Hey I just pledged for the purpleheart's as well! We should have a pretty good setup between those and these.

Matt.TThanks! That's the hope. Unless the x00's semi-openness are too noisy for the office but I think it will be fine. And I've always wanted CIEM's so this price point sent me over the edge.
