I have a pair of F5's and a Sub7 here at my desk. They are connected to my computer via a Bifrost Uber DAC and Lyr tube amp. They sound amazing with crystal clear highs, punchy/tight lows and warm mids...of course the Sub7 does wonders for filling out the low end, and they are all sitting on IsoAcoustics...=)

Artist 3 or 5 would be nice. I would prefer the A3x or A5x. Any of those would be far superior to the nasal, boxy sound of the F7 (or any of the F series) .

No not at all. That could very well be due to you power source or grounding with how sensitive the amplifiers are to a power source.

Have you tried plugging them directly into the wall even if just temporary to see if it still happens?
