This drop is kind of blowing my mind...
This like the ONLY UHS-II Class 10 for sale on the internet at this storage amount... and it's at an absolutely insane discount. Let alone the microSD card which are pretty much non existent.
If this was not DIRECTLY from the manufacturer I would say its a scam!
Massdrop... THIS is such an amazing drop!

HappyNemYou can get a sandisk A1 256Gb from amazom for just $99 that card would be fine at 95mb/s speed. Unless you need to record 4k video then get this from u3 card from the drop I using in a cellphone then A1 is just fine. I've been using my 256gb sandisk A1 in my cellphone for over one year and it's been great so far. Watch out for games though, only order from reputable store. I would stay away from ebay too, it's just too risky.

DrTerribleWell, if I have 256gb sandisk A1 in my s9+ phone obviously I do transfer files quite often. I would agree that all pre A1 cards were slow but this A1 is way faster. Before getting the new A1 256gb card I had 200gb also made by sandisk and that one was slow. It all comes down to personal preference.

Must be why my second purchase was delivered empty. Nice bubble wrap package with slit in it. UPS blames USPS and vice versa ... only I'm the one screwed.

MedicFL1 WOW, I feel your pain, last week I got Spigen screen protector for my note 9 and the box from Amazon came opened and empty! I would still recommend Amazon though, today they have great prices on microSD cards I think the best prices you can find! Last week Amazon had one day sale on storage and then prices were just mad ;) I bought 400gb Sandisk A1 MicroSD card for $99. Today is still fine prices, buy the 256gb for $62 Sandisk A1 MicroSD card (I've used them all 64gb, 128gb, 200gb, 256gb and now 400gb and they're great). Just stay with A1 cards those are new gen!

VAS007Amazon can be a crap shoot on fake tech gear... I would say check to see who is selling it. Just because it says "By Scandisk" on the top is just for searching, it does not mean anything. When items are "Shipped by Amazon" they could be from anywhere! This is one area when Massdrop can really shine... since they come from the vendor, while the drops on here might not always be a deal or be fast at getting you your purchase... at least you know its legit merchandise.

HappyNemCompletely agree on that one! Out of ten Sandisk microSD cards once I received "not genuine" and I was able to see it only because I ordered three of 200gb cards and one of three was just not the same as the other ones. It's not a problem I usually buy only products sold by Amazon not fulfilled by a third-party seller. Then you just open your card and run through msd testing software transer/receiving speed and manufacturer code. If you have doubts call Amazon and they would fix it asap! In my case they let me keep the one I felt wasn't genuine and send mailed me another one (one day later I got the fourth card and it was a genuine one). P.S. I belong to the generation that believed in the axiom "Trust but verify".

VAS007UNITED PARCEL SERVICE couldn't pass off the blame fast enough. The UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE main office showed me their scan screen of the package which of course only showed the front side. They said they get a bin full from UPS and divide it out to carriers. My Local Mail Woman was offended at my catching up to her to accuse her of stealing and referred me to main office. Main office said it's not inspected other than scanned for delivery therefore it's UPS problem.
From now on I'm upgrading my UPS mail so this does not happen again. upgrade to UPS Ground, so their's only on carrier to go after.
Meanwhile I want someone's job for stealing from me. ( smoke coming out of ears ).
Waiting on Massdrop response to claim.
