I will never purchase a drop where the product image is intentionally misleading. Vote with your wallet!

TonySThe benefit of showing the high end product in the image is that I know what the highest capacity is without clicking through, and the lowest price available as well. If you just show lowest capacity or highest price, that’s more misleading because that’s not how tiered products are sold. It just takes a touch of common sense from your end. You’re either being intentionally daft or you’re easily swindled if you think it’s possible for a 512GB microSD to be available for <$40 in 2019.

techwizIf it wasn't a bait and switch, they would just price it for the product shown and discount it for the lower capacities. Alternatively, they could show all of the capacities offered with the price reflecting the capacity of the one featured in front or most prominently. I didn't expect a 512GB card to be $40. There are such scams though on Amazon. With some of the other crap now being peddled by MD, I wouldn't put it past them. I clicked through to see what the price was, but I still found it offensive. I may be daft and naive perhaps too. Daft or not, I and others are irritated with this drop. As a long time MD customer, I am voicing my irritation. Maybe no one at MD reads this or even cares; maybe so. I'm just not going to do "nothing". Obviously, you have a different opinion. That's cool, diversity makes the world go round. Happy shopping! :)

techwizBut 128 for 35 dollars definitely is not a deal for th speeds offered as well. You can get 256gb for this price in some markets and sales with similar speeds and data encryption. I believe around 40-45 is the going rate for some of the brand name 256 sdxc cards

WhiskeyJacksThat’s fair, but that doesn’t make this drop “intentionally misleading” as OP put it. All the info you needed to make that judgement was clear and up front.

techwizYeah it showed the highest sized sdxc you can purchase for additional costs, which they have similar for many hard drive, memory, or storage products.
