Oh, wow. I thought it is a button and turned out it has no button. You need two hands when you use it. ....?

Be very aware of how small the "David" size is. I just received mine and they are pretty difficult to actually hold and grind with two hands. I'll probably give them away and buy larger grinders on Amazon. While they look very nice, and the construction is high quality, these just aren't practical for me.

BobbyHIf you still have it... According to the package, where are these made? Thanks!

vinberdonSorry - I don't have the packaging and I don't see anything on the actual grinders. I vaguely recall seeing Germany on the box, but I'm not 100% sure about that. As I mentioned, while they are too small for me to use, the build quality is high.

Can you tell me how much amount of pepper grinds I can get in 15 seconds with a David, please? (grams would be nicer)

gurubuHow do you suggest somebody test this for you? Grind their grinder on the set of scales for 15 seconds? :) The result will depend on your grinding technique...

Wow, I just bought a plastic pepper mill from Fred Meyer's for $15, totally would have paid $30 for two nice quality small ones.

Wanted a large one. Thanks though. Right now I am thinking any salt mill I use will pretty much be disposable. The quality of stainless steel used in them is too low.

Adhoc is great...the grinders in all mill are ceramic, so good for salt or pepper!

Are these battery powered, automatic, and with an LED?
karma0The grinders in this drop are all manual. We have an electric version (woodmatic: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/adhoc-woodmatic-electric-salt-pepper-mill) running now as well which has a battery and LED lighting.

Is the Goliath suitable both for pepper and salt, or pepper only?

ElevasI was wondering the same thing.
ElevasGoliath is suitable for both salt and pepper. The ceramic grinder is adjustable from very fine to coarse for both david and goliath models.
