Super stiff, but I suppose that's what you want in a hiking shoe. The trails and general temperance of my area isn't well suited to these shoes being as stiff as they are, but other than that, a fantastic shoe. The boost is mostly for style and serves super little actual comfort or support for the foot, but the style is killer.

the shoes get 5 stars for fashion. For function, I’m a lady who ordered a men’s size 8 bc I have a moderately wide foot... and shoe still feels narrow. Which is odd. My feet aren’t that wide. Perfect for walking around life, but won’t wear these to workout

Coming from Altra and Topo for trail running, these are kind of underwhelming. The design is nice, the protection is nice, but they are more light all purpose hikers than running shoes. I don't enjoy running in them that is a personal preference due to liking minimal drop, bigger toe-box, with strategic strike place placement. The stand-out feature for me is the continental soles. They are insanely grippy and great for scrambling + steep hiking.
