I purchased these shoes knowing their intended purpose but I went ahead and wore them to work a couple of times. Do you know what, I didn't regret it. If I didn't regret using these shoes in a few 8-10 hour sessions of use at work then I knew that use of these shoes in bursts of 3 to maybe 4 hours in their intended role wold be very easy to do. 5-stars.
These are boat shoes made for a utilitarian purpose. Do not buy these thinking you will be comfortable.
The soles are hard rubber with no cushioning. They are not like docksiders. More hard soled like rental bowling shoes. They seem to be well made and do have drain holes in the soles as described. A good value for the money if this is they type of shoe you need.
As other mentioned, size runs a bit small. I ordered a size 9 which has been my size with other Adidas shoes that I owned, but the 9 size of this pair seems a bit on the smallish side. The sole is rather flat and hard. The heel part was a bit stiff at the beginning but softened with time. However, they are extremely light and well ventilated having star shaped openining at the bottom. For this reason I use them mainly in the summer. All and all, if you size up on these shoes, you will enjoy pretty and comfortable shoes.
Dont comfort as expected.
Aswell seems to be non from the best quality of adidas.
The infromation that given about the product seems to be like the real thing
I really like the style, build, and finish, but the fit runs really small so I couldn't wear them. The men's size 10 was more like a women's 10. My wife ended up taking them.
I'd been wearing these around town all summer and really liked them. Two weeks ago I arrived at the trailhead for the start of a planned 5 day, 75 mile trip through the Wallowa mountains (a very beautiful and rugged range full of granite peaks, lakes and meadows) only to discover that I'd left my hiking shoes at home (8 hours away). With no other choice, I set out in my Adidas city shoes and they were great! My feet got wet crossing streams or wet areas, but dried almost immediately. The traction was outstanding on the granite although, predictably, a little sketchy on areas with small, loose rocks and dirt. The sole didn't provide nearly as much protection as on heavier shoes, but with careful foot placement it didn't end up being as much of an issue as I'd feared. Anyways, while these wouldn't be my first choice for this type of trip, I can heartily recommend these for anyone looking for a great summer shoe that's light, dries quickly and is comfortable on trails or around town.
