Hey Massdrop, thanks for supporting this drop. Please help us out with your product reviews once you receive your product.
The Agravic Down Jacket is a Fall/Winter only product so we will be out of stock until until 8/1/17 when we launch 4 new colors. This is the middle-weight of our technical down series. In 2017 we are also introducing an Agravic MICRO-DOWN jacket at 9.3oz (not sure about the fill weight yet, I estimate about 70g of 90/10 hyperdry fill based on the look of the sample). We also have a primaloft jacket that is also fall only: http://adidasoutdoor.com/terrex-ndosphere-flex-hooded-jacket-ii/BSJ72.html?dwvar_BSJ72_color=Utility_Green
Let me know what you are most interested in for next Fall/Winter.

nicbariHey Nic, if you can pass some feedback to your product managers ..."hood controls". They used to be a thing, then they became not a thing amongst apparently *most* manufacturers. I don't know if it's to reduce manufacturing cost or to drop grams in the weight-race, but I can't believe it's because consumers don't want them. I for one have a hooded jacket with no hood controls (I rarely climb and thus am using my hood on it's own, number under or over a helmet ) and won't buy another without them - an elastic band alone is simply inadequate for me.
PS. You have a pretty amazing job.

EverythingIsBetterOutdoorsI'm not familiar with the term "hood controls"? Is this just something that keeps the hood secure to the back of your jacket when its not on your head? Do you have any photos you can share? Thanks!

nicbariDrawstring around the face of the hood so you can cinch it down tighter around your forehead and/or googles/glasses, and one around the circumference (usually accessed from the rear of the hood) that lets you control how far forward the hood rides so you can get it as low as possible without it flopping into your line of sight. They seem much more common on rainwear now, especially laminates, since I suppose people tend to gripe much louder if they can't adjust their rain hood to keep water out.
