JohnKramerJohn - I appreciate your comment about the price. Adidas is very receptive to this feedback so I just want to make sure we can address your concerns. I replied to another member's comments regarding our price point earlier so I will relay it here in case you missed it: the fabric on the Agravic is Pertex Quantum GL (7d inner & outer) which has the highest strength to weight ratio of all pertex fabrics - it is also soft to the touch . It's quite expensive material and thus its not very common to see in 800+ down jackets. For your reference, the Zero G from RAB also uses Pertex Quantum GL, RDS certified down, has a hood, with 130g fill power (10g more fill than this Agravic). The Zero G fetches $550 MSRP. In comparison to any down jackets using Pertex Quantum GL with 120g or more of 800+ fill power down, $350 msrp is an incredible value, not to mention our other specs that other vendors are not offering. For example, the Agravic uses Water Repellent Down which stays dry 10x longer than untreated down AND uses Differential baffling technology, which overstuffs every other baffle so the seams are covered when the jacket presses against your body (prevents heat loss). Adidas does make lower price point jackets that do not use Quantum GL or water repellent down that ARE comparable in the $220 price range you are referring to.
Here is the complete list of specs for value comparisons: 1. Fabric: Pertex Quantum GL, Highest strength to weight ratio - quiet to the touch, does not crinkle 2. Body-mapped with ventilation under the arms to prevent overheating 3. The baffling is offset and overstuffed, this covers the seams to prevent heat loss through gaps in the insulation 4. Draft collars on neck and wrists trap body heat inside the jacket 5. Length - longer back for more coverage and warmth 6. RDS Certified 800+ fill down 7. Fill weight - 120g 90/10 RDS Goose Down 8. Our down is Pfc free water-repellant down treatment

nicbariI wish Adidas outdoor website would list the specs like this for all of their down jackets. Things that are important when comparing down jackets include: total weight, fill power, fill weight, outer denier, adjustable hem/hood, and additional features. All of the down jackets are missing the fill weight and denier, and the swift is missing the total weight.
