I was very excited about the portability and weight of the product, on which it definitely delivered. As for the usability though, it always seems to be sinking low in the seat, even with a light weight kayaker. It does not seem useful for long days out on the kayak.
climbergirlYou could try adding a Backbone. Sadly, it is another $75, but I've heard good things about it. It should make paddling more efficient and really improve tracking. Personally, I have the drop stitch floor in mine and it really stiffens things up. The drop stitch floor costs twice as much and I gather on some kayaks, the Backbone is a better solution, anyway. You might call Advanced Elements and get their opinion. I called them with a few questions and they seemed pretty helpful.
