Klymits are fantastic too being even lighter and packs smaller. However, I believe the Packlites are substantially faster and straighter tracking. It all depends on one's priorities.
TIP: If your budget allows. I HIGHLY recommend a KPump Mini at 1 lbs. This little puppy inflates even my tandem Kayak in 6 minutes flat if I am in a rush. It floats, is virtually indestructible, and can pump up the Packlite in under 4 minutes easily.
I have a 24 oz high performance full blown carbon fiber paddle but the little paddle supplied with this deal is intriguing.
