I can attest that this is pretty much garbage. Q/C is not good and I have burned through 3-4 of these that all stop working after a week or so. Customer service is good though and they do a good job with swapping defective products.
DPDoughThanks for the info DPDough. I like this simple solution and would like something like this. Maybe I'll wait a while longer and see if people give more feedback and if they get their Q/C in check. For now, I'll sick with my stack of cords and external battery in my Fiio setup for my iPhone.
GernapiousSince it sounds like you're already a Fiio fan, have you considered their i1 lightning adapter? Seems to be a fairly simple solution, and prices float around $40 U.S.
Reviews range from positive to middling though, so it might be a good idea to do a bit of homework and decide for yourself.
shorkordeThanks for the recommendation, but the reviews scared me away from that one too. That one only supports 32 Ohm and my mobile cans are still higher than that. This one claims it is good up to 300 Ohms, so I am still tempted to try it out for $45. I just don't like dealing with Q/C issues, because I am that guy that just throws it into a drawer so I don't have to deal with the RMA process.
DPDoughGlad I got my refund on KS months after the campaign ended since the USB C development stalled and the updates only indicated Lightning version...
DPDoughMine died after 5 months of not very much use. I think strain relief on the cable wasn't good enough.
It sucks as warranty / returns are for US customers only.
