The longtime standard for ultralight backpacking, these Adventure Medical Kits are just as useful for traveling, kayaking, mountain biking, and any outdoor pursuit that calls for preparedness. Each kit has two levels of waterproofing—an inner DryFlex bag and an outer seam-sealed, siliconized nylon bag—and comes with enough supplies to treat common injuries and ailments without weighing you down. All kits have a little extra room in the main bag, where you can store additional items like personal meds, a small gear repair kit, or a headlamp.
Note: At checkout, choose the 0.9L kit (base price), the 0.7L kit (- $2), the 0.5L kit (- $3), or the Pro kit (+ $55). You'll also have the option to add a 0.3L kit (+ $8).
4 Kit Sizes—What’s Inside?
Ideal for one- or two-day solo trips, the 0.5-liter kit has a wide array of medications for pain, inflammation, and allergies; antiseptic wipes and butterfly bandages for cleaning and closing small cuts; wraps and bandages to stabilize fractures and sprains; and die-cut Moleskin plus Skin Tac topical adhesive to stop blisters before they start. The larger kits contain more items, but can still be pared down when you’re taking a shorter trip with fewer people. In the 0.9-liter bag, you’ll find medications to combat stomach illness, plus a trauma pad and wide elastic wraps to control life-threatening bleeding. Developed for Yosemite Mountain Guides, the Pro kit has professional-grade components fit for any outfitter, guide, trip leader, or mountaineer who needs to travel fast, light, and watertight.
Optional 0.3-Liter Kit
Ideal for day hikes, this packable kit is so small and light, you'll have no excuse to leave it at home. It's about the size of two Clif bars and will fit in most backpack hipbelt pockets for instant access on the trail.
