asdfmanBecause this isn't a really good photography rig. It's lacking a gimbal which makes aerial anything pretty hard. In essence, it's pretty much a gimmicky toy, and can be had for much cheaper like a Syma X5C or X11 etc.

cooperred@cooperredl agree with you that the Syma models you mentioned are much less expensive options out there. However you can not compare Syma drones to the AP10 Pro we have here. The AP10 Pro is a professional aerial grade drone with all the features you would expect from one. The Syma models fit in the palm of your hand, are not meant to fly outside, do not have FPV or GPS and only have flight times of 5-7 minutes max.
You are correct this does not have a Gimbal. The onboard camera on the AP10 Pro does have in flight adjustable viewpoints and vibration control. To get a product that has similar capabilities, features, and build quality of this drone with a Gimbal you will be in the $1000 price range and in most cases still need to purchase a GoPro. (DJI, IRIS, Walkera, Ect.)

Tex-ArozziVery true, Syma's don't have GPS, but they can be flown outside. Some Syma's have Wifi FPV too, and there are plenty of reviews showing how bad the latency is. However, FPV over wifi isn't really comparable to FPV as multirotor pilots know it. High latency, low range, etc don't really make it an attractive competitor to the established 5.8Ghz FPV hardware.
Without a gimbal, there's no way this can be used for any professional environment, so I don't know how it's labeled as a professional aerial grade drone. (How can something be "aerial grade" anyways? Isn't anything that flies "aerial grade?") Even a Parrot Bebop has some kind of video stabilization, even if it's software and not hardware.
You could easily do the same with a GoPro mounted to a F450, which also has GPS, return to home capabilities, as well as course lock, home lock, and gimbal support, in addition to failsafe modes.

asdfmanMy 2 cents .... DJI Phantom Standard @499 right now (10 year promo) is a lot more compelling.

asdfmanThis whole thing is an overpriced piece of shit. That's why no one is on it.
