Actually, they lost my respect with this drop: When I first looked at the description, the remote was included, and I joined specifically because of that (one of these "Wow, I got to have that!" moments). I was traveling, and put off the actual order for a few days. When I finally joined, nothing on the description page alerted me to the fact that the product description had changed. I placed my order "knowing" that the remote was included. This is at least bad customer service, and comes close to bait&switch...

khkremerSour grapes, khkremer? Sorry, I don't buy your rationalization. We all saw it there on day one with the remote (and even an extra battery, as I recall) for a day or two but had to go and do our research (i.e., read reviews and compare prices to Amazon and eBay) and were going to wait until enough people committed, etc.
Your comment only showed up AFTER Massdrop took the extremely unusual step of making whole those few early buyers who committed with the faulty info. You are likely mad at yourself for not being among those early few, and are now attempting to weasel your way into a free remote by claiming some wrong done to you--because you were "traveling." If they truly had lost your respect, why did you ultimately join the drop eight hours after posting your comment? Did you realize that your shaming would not be rewarded? Did Massdrop take the unbelievable step of actually caving to you (for which they would lose MY "respect," but not my $$$)? Shame on you, and thank you Massdrop.

climbrocksDon't need to make him look like a horrible person either. I too got fooled by the early description, upon commiting I didn't really go through the whole bunch of text again, yeah ok it's my bad, but still a little caption saying "hey, this thing isn't included after all, sorry." would've been nice.

khkremerI don't buy this. It's your responsibility as a consumer to be aware of what you are buying. They didn't deceive and displayed the info for exactly what would be included. Not only that, but they decided to include the remote for those of us who joined early. I am at the complete opposite end and respect massdrop for this and am a more loyal customer. I like the way they handled it.
