Just came here to say that I'm having the same volume issues that everyone else is having (volume randomly shoots to full blast, or jumps all over the place). Best just to avoid it unless you're able to replace the pointometer yourself.
Edit: Why have 9 people purchased this? It is a product that is known to be faulty, and it comes with no warranty.

BradumI really wanted to buy this unit since it's within my price range but was also deterred by the myriad volume issues. Any suggestions for dac/amp alternatives within the same price range? How about that hybrid tube amp MD is currently selling?

BradumSorry should've clarified-headphones up to 300 ohms. I'd prefer a single unit over a Schiit Magni/Modi combo. Thanks.

OddfellowThe TEAC is more of a speaker amp than a headphone amp. Even the Shiit Fulla 2 would probably be better than these for headphones, but if you can afford it the Magni/Modi combo would be much better.
