Looking for someone who already got theirs to confirm that there are no audio delay issues with Windows 8.1 or 10 using USB. Otherwise I'll post back with my findings once I get mine by the end of the week.
EDIT: On mine, USB works with no discernible audio lag 95% of the time. I'm fine with this.

RyouI will be able to pick mine up at the post office this afternoon, and I'll test it out on Windows 10 64bit and report back. Pleasantly surprised that it made it to Canada this quickly.

RyouOk, I'll try to document my experience here.
The driver install went smoothly, but my audio selection stuff froze afterwards, so I reset the computer. After that, it worked, but Foobar took about 10 seconds to initialize each song--not a good sign. This delay was solved by turning the TEAC off and on again. Not sure what this was all about.
Everything sounded good, so I loaded up Overwatch. There was about a 1 second delay on everything, as others have reported.
I downloaded LatencyMod from http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/solving-dpc-latency-issues/ to try to figure out what was going on. It appears, indeed the USB driver (doesn't seem to be TEAC's problem at all).
I checked to make sure the USB drivers were up to date, then updated to the most recent motherboard drivers.
Reboot 2.
Loaded up a game again, and the latency was reduced slightly, but nowhere close to playable.
I have switched over to the optical out on my computer sound card. The sound seems to be just as good, and there is no latency at all. They sound great, drive my speakers well, and it's great to have the subwoofer output. I'm pleased with the purchase, but can't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have an optical output for Windows 10.

joelpearceWell, crap. USB was way easier for me to set up, as I don't have a native optical out on my motherboard. I do have another FiiO DAC that I can hook up to the Line In and use the TEAC as an amp in the meantime. Thanks so much for following up.
EDIT: On mine, USB works with no discernible audio lag 95% of the time. I'm fine with this.

RyouBeen using mine for a little over a week on my high-end computer and I notice, sporadically, that I get audio lag and only a reboot seems to resolve it. I've tried changing the sampling rate down from 192kHz but it doesn't seem to have an affect. Would love to know if you have any suggestions for that other 5%.

FlexGunshipMake sure you are not using an USB hub or are plugging it on the front ports - plug it directly to the back of your PC. Make sure the cable you're using is short, in good condition and at least USB 2.0. Update your motherboards USB drivers and obviously make sure you have TEACs latest.

RyouRyou, thanks for the reply! I will say that I've done those things, at least. I'm using a USB3.0 port on the back of my computer (previously the spot held by my SMSL Q5 Pro) and the cable is nice Monoprice, gold, USB 2.0 piece.
I will certainly check to see if there are any new updated to my motherboard's USB drivers. It's an ASRock z77 Extreme 4 which still receives fairly regular updates via Microsoft's update service. But, we all know how reliable that can be.

FlexGunshipConsensus is that this is a common problem on Windows 10 with no known solution. Being a 10 user myself, I gave up immediately and went with SPDIF instead. No driver, no lag, no ragerts.

FlexGunshipCan you compare the sound quality between the TEAC and the Q5 Pro? Since I was considering both options, so your input may be helpful for me, thanks in advance!

eclipsemxsThe Q5 Pro has no headphone port (which is why I replaced it). But the Teac seems to have an intermittent delay under Windows 10. Only a reboot resolves it.

FlexGunshipThanks for the response! In regards of sound quality? is there too much difference?

eclipsemxsThey were both hooked to Polk TSx220bs, Nothing I could hear. I feel confident that, fundamentally, this is a "feature" difference. The Teac decodes at a higher datarate but it certainly seems to be beyond my ability to discern.
