gcardinalWhy do you say so, it shouldn't be a problem. It's just a cherry clone with cherry stems. Would you mind to explain?

MakamiI have this board - since the aluminum plate is higher then usual normal Cherry MX keycaps are hitting the aluminum plate. The keycaps on this board has a long protruding stem which compensates for the high aluminum plate. So this board is unusable with regular Cherry MX keycaps.

gcardinalHello gcardinal,
ty for your impression. @YanboWu shouldn't have any problems to clarify.
Looking at the pictures only, the switches seem to be mounted the usual way with oem profile keycaps. If you bottom out all the way it's nothing unusual to hit the plate, aluminium might not be that pleasing in this case with this one, maybe some o-rings might help. Not pleasing isn't unusable, it's not my intention to say you're wrong, but this is kind of bizarre.
Have a nice sunday

MakamiAluminium plate is mounted abobe the mounting plate. So its at least 3mm higher then usual Cherry MX keyboard setup. This unusable keyboard with any Cherry MX keycaps. it can ONLY be used with stock keycaps. I posted on Desktority a teardown of this keyboard with proff that it will NOT work.

gcardinalHi,
would you mind to share the link, had just been looking/searching for AJAZZ Geeks AK40 and can't find anything. Would love to see your teardown/pictures.
MakamiOne of our coworkers is using this keyboard with the backlit PBT keycaps we sold recently. No complaints from her so far.
