Akai MPC Element

i have owned multiple Akai products and loved them all. previously the industry standard as far as velocity sensitive trigger pads go. things may have changed in the past few years as many new players have entered the game but i don't doubt Akai products will retain their build quality and awesome functionality!

There is a ipad app just like this, right?

Hey guys, when I first opened the box, I was very surprised / pleased with the size and look of the Element. It only weighs 2 pounds and is very slim. It has kind of an ipad type of look to it. And of course, you get the great feeling drum pads that MPC has come to be known for. I'm no expert and I didn't really get a chance to go in depth with the software that was provided with the product. However, if you do have any woes with the MPC Essentials software, this product is compatible with most music production software. All in all, I think this would be a great little addition to anyone's set up, especially if you want to supplement your midi keyboard controller with more drum pads.
