As a music producer, I listen to all kinds of music. My reference library includes CD's from Sting, Black Eyed Peas, Steely Dan, Fourplay, Eminem, Deadmau5, Nosia, Peter Gabriel, Tom Petty, Niel Diamond, on and on and on.
I love deadmau5, but don't you dare judge me telling me I may someday discover real music.
