Hey, I'm new to the whole "high quality" headphone thing. Not really to sure on what to look for in a new set of headphones. Currently for most gaming I've been using logitech g933 (love the wireless aspect of it for gaming, i know a lot of ppl say wireless headphones are garbage, but its convenient xD). I haven't had any issue with the sound quality of the g933s, but im sure that is because im inexperienced in the field lol.
Mainly was just wondering, will I notice a large difference between these and the g933s when it comes to music / movies / etc. Still plan on using the g933s for gaming mainly because of the convenience factor w/ my current setup (not a lot of space to work with lol)
Im mainly looking for a good priced / quality entry level option with this audiophile stuff.
tldr: These vs logitech g933 while listening to music / videos. Worth? (I am new to this audiophile stuff, not sure what im looking at xD)
Also, are a DAC or Amp necessary with these?

HildifonzThese are super efficient and will not need a dac/amp. You likely won't hear much of an improvement unless your current headphone out is static-y or something.
Haven't heard the G933, but once you move on from gaming headsets you can't go back. Sure, a gaming headset will produce sound. But stepping into the headphone/audiophile game turned my passive listening to active enjoyment of sound. Everything's so crisp and clear and accurate. These are pretty good cans, but I would definitely suggest looking around at other options depending on your listening preferences. These cans have good midrange(usually contains most instruments and vocals) but not a whole lot of bass.
