Are they made in Austria or China? I heard there are no more AKG 612 pros made in austria.
Do you guys think that this headphones will be good for listening to rap music?

Maciek666These have a rather neutral sound. Rap music is quite bassy, so perhaps these may not be the best cans for that. But don't get me wrong these are still great, and I'm sure if you got them (next time they dropped or whenever you chose to buy them) you'd love your rap music, but you might find the bass department a little lessened from what you would usually hear.

So I have an MSI Z97 Gaming motherboard and it says it has a build in amp. Is this gonna be similar to DACs that you buy separately? It says that it can deliver up to 600 ohms, if thats how you state it. http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z97_GAMING_5.html#hero-overview

If your from Aus and this doesn't hit the lowest drop, the headphone can be bought on ebay for around $170. I'm surprised as well there isn't much interest. Maybe they should lower the price :)
