tumtuterwow it sounds crazy to me that 799.99 is considered a bargain. then i realize that the HD800's are twice that amount. linustechtips showed that they are hand assembled, but unless they were blessed by God himself, i can't justify that purchase even half off.

tumtuterWhile I too would love to get my hands on something like that, I do not think they would sell nearly as well as these did because the price is just too far out there for the majority of people.

EniGmA1987I owned the HD800 earlier this year and didn't like them, way too harsh for me, not enjoyable for a lot of music.

xerowunNot exactly a bargain, but being realistic I think Sennheiser won't drop the price too far on what are arguably the best HP. This will likely be endgame for many without the need to go into the world of electrostatic (many thousands $£¥). But $649.99 would be a bargain for sure.
