Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

Personally, I have grown irritated with some common complaints from both new new and old users. Maybe they don't understand the process or are assuming that every drop has the same time table. My irritation seems to stem from a few users poor decision making habits. This may or may not be entirely their fault.
An example would be users trying to receive a drop while in the US before leaving the country. That is entirely their risk. I wouldn't recommend that under any circumstances no matter the amount of money they may potentially save.
Another repetitive action seems to occur with a few users that have a clear understanding of their personal time table and when they NEED an item in hand by a certain date. However, they still purchase the item on massdrop and a delay might occurr. Now they don't have their item when they NEEDED it. This frustrates them, but it is their fault nonetheless. A great example of this is when you have a trip or have to leave your residence for whatever reason and need the item before this is meant to take place. Save yourself the headache and shell out a little bit more cash to have the item guaranteed in hand before that date.
Some of the user base can also be very impatient. I understand that it's only human nature, but at the end of the day it isn't an actual problem of catastrophic proportions. I have wanted to save cash on some items with massdrop that I ultimately purchased elsewhere as I didn't want to wait. I didn't need my FiiO E18 or headphone stands as soon as possible. They were great purchases made to save me some cash. I wanted a Q701 from here too, but I had no patience to wait for a drop, watch it end, wait for it to ship and then wait for it to arrive. I spent $40 extra for convenience and a smaller transaction to delivery time.
I guess I would just like the user base to be more responsible with their decision making and not blame massdrop for any inconvenience they may fall victim to. Again, sorry for coming across as rude earlier. It has been a very stressful month for me. I know that isn't a good excuse either, but it's my primary reason. If you go through my past discussion posts, they're rather opposite in approach.
I'm just sour about not seeing these beautiful headphones after buying them during the initial drop, two and half months ago. We heard some word of getting them sooner than anticipated but that later turned into later than expected. Knowing that I'll be getting these at the same time as people who just purchased them upsets me knowing that my money has been out of my hands for much, much longer.
I'd kill for a smaller (by maybe 1 cm in diameter) pair of K7XX's. Every pair of AKG headphones that I have tried are just too large for a proper seal on my head. That's why I ended up selling mine.
I'm hoping to get my tracking number soon as others have gotten theirs.
Sorry man. Hope you get yours soon!
