Premi23I'm an AT fan but I buy AKG for gaming. I haven't really heard anything else that had such a useful sound stage and "instrument" placement. I mostly play BF and ARMA.

Premi23To me, they sound *exactly* like my K712 that I paid around $400 for. The K7XX is excellent IMO, and at $199, possibly the best deal in headphones ever. I haven't gamed with the K7XX yet, I've been far too busy with other things, but I have with the K712. AKG makes what might be the best open backed headphones for gaming, period. My only complaint is that the K7XX didn't include a shorter, coiled cord too, like my K712 did. Not a big deal though...
