Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I dont know if I should get these or just wait until I'll be going to a big city with headphone stores (since all the major cities have some place to try headphones). All I know is that once I spend money somewhere I'd rather not have to return things to avoid shipping costs.

1. Sennheiser HD6XX/650 - Rolled off treble (less "detailed" and smoother) - Much more full midrange - More impact on mid-bass slam - Less bass extension and quality - Noticeably smaller soundstage - Less overall clarity
2. Fidelio X2 - Smaller, but perhaps more accurate soundstage - Comparable treble - Midrange is slightly recessed - A lot more mid-bass impact - Less bass extension - Less overall clarity
