Hi, does anyone know how it performs for gaming? specifically FPS games where hearing where gunshots, footsteps etc are coming from. Thanks.

When I play pubg my friends wont hear footsteps but I can hear them clear as a day

I can second Kirbuis. I prefer the k7xx over my Sennheiser game zero (closed back) for gaming (Overwatch, FF XIV, Doom, Witcher 3, etc.). A friend recently got the open-backed Senn PC7X or whatever they're called. He says he can hear and place bullets from across the map in PUBG.

I use my for gaming and they work great! A lot of your performance will also depend on the audio processing, not just the headphones however.
