Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Update: OK, after 20 min or so (not enough usually for burn-in to have any effect) I couldn't resist listening some more. My best guess is these are defective - there are layers of mashed-potatoes across the sound spectrum and if you blind-folded me and told me these were $35 sony headphones bought in the airport, I'd suggest you go get the $35 back. These can't be what AKG-7xx sound like out of the box. Going to leave them burning while I go out for 5-6 hours and see what happens. Love to hear what others think out of the box... BTW, testing on iphone, mac, and Pono.
