I've had these burnt in for two weeks nonstop before engaging in meaningful listen - boy, am I glad to sell my Grado RS1e to get the k7XX? And m9XX too, both for the cost of the Grados! These are awesome, awesome cans, no if and buts, just awesome. Not that Grados are slouching (they are very engaging and more energetic, but - are tiring both physically and mentally), the k7XX though sound like $1K headphones, and if amplified properly (feed them good DAC sound like m9XX and preferably DSD or 385K resolution) they are equal to any pair under $1K, any. Get them on the next drop, you won't regret it.
