HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MASSDROP CUSTOMER SERVICE...Corie, in particular.
I bought a set of AKG 7xx used off ebay in March, basically brand new, a few hours on them at most. A few weeks ago the sound in the right ear cut out completely.
I contacted the Ebay seller (to have him help with original receipt for warranty) and Massdrop.
Massdrop was prompt on returning my emails, and letting me the know the procedure. Corie responded to ALL of my emails, and there were plenty.
She emailed me the warranty return slip, I shipped them 9/25, tracking stated they would be delivered 10/3..yesterday.
Corie let me know she would have the warehouse ship me a BRAND NEW set of headphones upon receipt. Well, pretty cool, I thought AKG would repair mine and return.
Heres the kicker.....THEY ALREADY ARRIVED, I got home today to find a Massdrop package at my door.... Brand new limited edition 7xx.. Blown away.
Ive only bought one item from Massdrop myself, the Centrance DAC, which is great. And I wont hesitate to purchase again. In this day and age were customer service has disappeared, Massdrop was awesome. thanks again Corie!!!
