I was unimpressed given all the hype for these headphones. First, they don't feel secure on your head and second they sound kinda cheap. A bit thin and unbalanced. The quality feels cheap too. They don't feel like sturdy headphones. For reference, I compared these with Beyerdynamic DT 880 pro headphones which cost about the same. These have a richer and fuller sound. And also my old Sennhesier HD 600, which have a smoother and more balanced sound. They're not bad, but the hype is overblown.

AnotherVoiceDid you try an amp/DAC? I haven't read up on these so I'm not sure their ohmn rating.

AnotherVoiceYes various ones. Currently I'm using the SMSL M6 DAC that I bought at Massdrop, which is pretty good.

AnotherVoiceI should clarify that the Beyerdynamic headphones have a richer and fuller sound to my ears than the AKG. (not the other way around)

AnotherVoiceFor you, low clamp force is a minus. For me, it's a selling point. I have a large head and many headphones become uncomfortable after 15-30 mins. I agree they wouldn't be appropriate for, say, jogging. The ear pads soak up sweat and become gross, anyway (I tried them with my Vive VR headset).

AnotherVoicePlus, if you jogged with these you would look ridiculous. ;-) Uncomfortable headphones are certainly a deal breaker no matter how they sound.
