These do not have a MSRP of $700. Massdrop needs to stop encouraging companies from making drops look like much better deals than they actually are. The 702's go for $125-150. These aren't much different.

svk_7Isn't the K7xx a rework of "K702 65th Anniversary Edition" and not the K702 ? If so, maybe it is not 650-700$, but I believe more close than 400$. Still a great deal imo

svk_7702s can be had for 225 new on amazon.
However the 702 65/AE is a different story. I can't find them new anywhere. On eBay, they go for $300 used. MSRP was $499.
The sound signature on the 702 65/AE is different than that of the 702. The 702 65/AE was limited to only 3,000 unites. Whether you think its better will differ on taste, but it is considered superior by many.
" I’ll stick my neck out and suggest that if you love your K702 originals than these will be a welcome upgrade.  AKG’s 702-65 is the company’s best effort to date in the K701/702 series, improving on every aspect the range has to offer without making any sacrifices. samh57It really isn't that much different from the actual cost man. I have noticed a lot of the items that are for sale make it seem like they're 50-60% off when in reality you can find thme for $20 more on amaxon and get shipping faster than waiting months
