Good headphone without needing an amp; Nice sound quality that doesn't cut off outside noise (so I can hear when my dog is messing with stuff); ...and a plastic-y feeling construction. That said, the price is right for a product like this. I'd look into replacing the ear cups as soon as you can since the leatherette feels pretty much like plastic. I bought this as a gift for a high school grad to take to college.

awsumsawzAny suggestions on reasonably priced upgrades to the pads? I've seen suggestions for some that cost $30, but this seems a little crazy for $50 headphones.
